The Ancients believed the world was composed of four elements
- earth, air, water, fire - surrounded by the mysterious aether. We
now know the universe is composed of a zoo of subatomic wavicles
and governed by the orderly laws of math and physics.
But from an artistic sense, the Ancients may have had it right.
